Lemon Asparagus Hummus

Ingredients
  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed well
  • 1/2 – 1 jar of Byler’s Relish House Pickled Asparagus
  • 2 medium cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tahini, sesame paste
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
  1. Remove asparagus from jar and pat dry with a lint free towel or paper towel.
  2. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth.
  3. Carefully remove from the food processor to a serving bowl.
  4. Garnish with asparagus spears and a slice of lemon!
  5. Serve as a Hummus Duo with Beet Hummus!
