Ingredients
  • 2-3 large Byler’s Relish House Pickled Beets
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed (or swap in 1 cup soaked cashews or steamed cauliflower for a bean free option)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup filtered water, as needed for smoothness
Directions
  1. Add all of the ingredients (except water) into a food processor or blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add water, 1 tbsp at a time, as needed to keep blending.
  4. Remove and put in a dish to serve.
  5. Serve with fresh veggies, crackers, pretzels, etc.
